Having graduated from the Building and Construction Department University of Technology – Baghdad in 2003, Bassam began his professional journey working in Baghdad for a number of years before moving to Muscat – Oman in 2005. He quickly progressed in his role from a Site Engineer to Project Manager for the largest Government Investment and Food Processing Agency in the Gulf Region, where he delivered many phenomenally successful residential, commercial, and industrial projects.


Bassam arrived in Canada in 2017, where he joined the team at Capital Region Housing with the Government of Alberta. Using both domestic and international experiences, Bassam started an independent venture constructing residential houses in the Edmonton area and completing full renovation projects for commercial buildings in the downtown core. During this time, Bassam also worked to attain his Projects Leadership Certificate from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, which he completed in 2020.


Moving to Burlington in end of May 2020, Bassam completed his Real Estate studies with Humber college and achieved his Real Estate Sales Representative in a fast-track capacity and now looks forward to serving his community.
